A-DATA 8 gigs flash drive - 8 gigs storage for a great price!

A-DATA 8 gig flash drive is a compact and versatile storage device which can neatly fitting 8 gigs worth of data. I have this and it works great. The best part is the price. From Supermediastore.com, you can get this for $30.99 which is a superb price for an 8 gig flash drive. The only issue is that it's meant for Windows ME, 2000, and XP (driverless). But I'm sure it will work on Vista if you download specific drivers.

Secunia Software Inspector - makes sure your applications are uptodate.

Secunia Software Inspector does a great job in detecting all your software applications, Microsoft patches, and other programs are updated and secure. You can check your system either online or you can download the program Secunia PSI. This is an excellent program in my opinion and very much needed. I was amazed at how many insecure applications I had. It saved me an enormous amount of time to individually find the applications/programs and update them. Definitely recommended.

Eon Ice - I can see the light from a credit card sized gadget!!

I love LED gadgets and Eon Ice is one amazing product to say the least. As thin as a credit card, Eon Ice is crush proof and water proof; highly portable with two very bright LED lights that can last a long time(5-10 years according to the manufacturer) and can shine continuously for almost 168 hours. It comes in handy at night whether alone in the jungle or searching your bag for your car/house keys. The biggest plus point; it's fairly cheap at $15!

Fatboy Bean Bag - Beanbag heaven!!

My friend actually has a Fatboy beanbag and it is one of the most comfiest beanbags I have ever sat on. What I like about it is the versatility of the beanbag. You can shape it in any way and lie on it in comfort. It's great for crashing out with a good book or watching TV or even playing video games. It's also stylish enough to be put in the living room and it comes in a lot of cool colors. The only drawback is the price which can be around $220. But it's worth it in my opinion.

Anti-Gravity Boots - Jump around like crazy!!

Whoa! What have we here! I just found this recently and it caught my eye! Anti-Gravity boots are basically boots that allow you to jump higher and farther like a kangaroo. They are solid, heavy duty boots that won't leave any tread mark and are gentle on the joints. Even cooler is that they really give you a workout. Great for kids and adults alike!
Price range is between 100-140 bucks depending on kids/adult sizes.

Moon in my Room - Get a moon in your room!

Being a sucker for all things celestial, I found this product to be awesome. Imagine having your own moon in your room lighting up the dark night and showing all the 12 phases! This would be great for any cosomos lovers or for curious kids. The Moon can be mounted on any bedroom wall; it turns on automatically in a dark room and shuts off after half an hour of inactivity. The phases can be switched by remote control or automatically.
I think this a wonderful product that is practical(acts like a night light!) and educational.
Price is anywhere between 25-30 bucks.

Tool Logic SL Pro 2 Knife - the ultimate survival tool

Now this is one awesome tool! If you are a hunting/camping/fishing/outdoors enthusiast then this product will come in real handy. Developed by the Swedish Defense Department, this lightweight tool has a razor sharp serrated grade A blade; it also has a fire steel which can produce a 3,000 degree hot spark and can light fires even when wet; also comes with a waterproof torch and a piercing whistle. You can't go wrong with this gadget in my opinion.
Cost is around $45.

Sound Asleep Pillow - a pillow that plays music!

Here's a cool product! The Sound Asleep Pillow! Picture yourself sleeping and listening to your favorite music. That's basically what the pillow is about; you plug in your Ipod or CD Player into the pillow and you can listen to your music. The speaker is deep in the pillow and you can't feel it. Plus only you will hear the sound so it won't disturb anyone else in bed. I think it's an awesome product; nothing beats drifting of to sleep while listening to your favorite song. Heck, you can record your classroom lectures and listen to them while you sleep!
I only found one place which has it and it's around $50. Worth it? Well that depends on you ;)

Phil Bradley Search Engine - The most comprehensive search engine ever!

Phil Bradley Search Engines Page
This is one of the most comprehensive search engine sites in my opinion. Put together by Phil Bradley, it offers a huge variety of search engines in different categories. I found it very useful especially when for academic purposes. Check it out!

Powerwebs - work that pinch grip!

Power webs are a great product to strengthen your grip especially your fingers for that solid pinch grip. Developed as a rehab product, and coming in a variety of resistance levels, it is a safe and effective and challenging product to strengthen your grip. It's quite affordable as well.

Power Breathe - Resistance training for your lungs

As a fitness freak, I'm always interested in the latest fitness gadgets and equipment. While most are junk there are some that just pop out and amaze me and this is one of them. Power Breathe is touted as the dumbbells for your diaphragm; the idea being that one's endurance and breathing capacity can be markedly improved through resistance training of the lungs - in effect making them work harder which makes them more efficient, stronger, and ultimately translates into better sport performance. I don't have this product but a friend of mine who is an avid swimmer has been using this for months and swears it has helped him in terms of endurance. Reviews in general are mixed thus it is up to the buyer's discretion to try it out. It isn't necessarily cheap either; going at $45-60 per unit depending on the model you buy.

Ultimately we have to remember that this product was initially created to help those who suffered from asthma and/or respiratory ailments and not necessarily for sports performance. Would I consider buying it though? I think I would cause I have lousy lungs.

The Armstrong Pull Up Program - the best pull up program ever!

"How many pull ups can you do?"
The Armstrong Pull Up Program was developed by Major Charles Lewis Armstrong (USMC). It is one of the most effective pull up programs out there and many people including myself swear by it. Prior to starting the program I could barely do 2-3 proper pull ups. After several weeks on the program I got 11 proper pull ups with relative ease! You really have to follow the directions in order to yield the best possible results. Try it!

Powerball Gyroscope - 40 lbs of resistance to strengthen your wrists

The Powerball Gyroscope is a unique gadget that is fun and beneficial. I personally like it because it helped strengthen my wrists and forearms. Great for wrist rehab for sure. The 250 mhz ball produces around 40 lbs of resistance and can go as high as 16, 000 rpm. I haven't yet reached that level but it is quite addicting to try. Basically it's a fun product and for those of you who want to strengthen their wrists or forearms, it's a decent buy. They also have a 350 mhz ball which provides even more resistance!
The retail price for a bare bottom 250 mhz powerball is $25 (without the rpm counter). The 350 mhz powerball metal is much more expensive. You can definitely get some good deals on eBay for this.

Power Push Up 2 - a 3 lbs complete home gym

Now this is a novel gadget to say the least. I bought the power push up with the intention to add weighted push ups to my training regimen. What really caught my eye regarding this product was it's adjustable resistance that could go from 20 lbs to 240 lbs. But in all honesty, this product was good for everything else but push ups. It was very awkward to use. I eventually got the hang of it but wasn't too impressed. The push ups were challenging for sure but the sponge handle bars put incredible amounts of stress between my finger and the thumb area. However, the power push up 2 is a great piece of equipment for any other exercise. I have used it successfully for curls, triceps extension, chest press, rows, military, lat pull downs, dead lifts, 1 leg step ups etc. I usually use it as a warm up and to strengthen my tendons/ligaments. I used to have shoulder and elbow problems but after using this for a few months, I feel a lot stronger in my joints.

For $30, it's not that bad. I have no regrets buying this product and I still use it everyday. I recommend buying extra tubing because over time the wear and tear will stretch out the tubes.

Ivanko Super Gripper - Adjustable Resistance Gripper

This is one of my favorite workout tools especially for building my grip strength. The Ivanko Super Gripper's best point is it's adjustable resistance going from 45 lbs to 345 lbs. It is a solid product, quite strong and durable. Like the picture, I put some duct tape on the grip in order to reduce slippage.

This product is great for all you gripping aficionados out there. It beats buying all those CoC grippers. It's very affordable as well, retailing at $32 or cheaper.

Project Gutenberg - 20,000 quality ebooks for free

Facial Flex - The Ultimate in Facial Toning

Well here's an example of an "odd product" to say the least. The premise is simple enough. As we age our facial muscles start to sag and we lose our definition. The Facial Flex is meant to strengthen our facial muslces and prevent that from happening without cosmetic surgery. Basically you squeeze your mouth against the resistance (rubber bands) and so on.
Now it seems far fetched but we must remember that our face has innumerable muscles and hey anything that can help strengthen them is alright with me. But I don't know if this product can really be the "miracle" that people seek. Basically it was made to help stroke and burn victims who suffered from paralysis to give them some degree of facial muscular control.
It costs a pretty penny too at 70 bucks.
I don't know...I thought it looked interesting.

Exoforce - Weight training hyper compression garment meant to increase strength and power

Essentially a "new age" powerlifting shirt, the Exoforce hyper compression shirt supposedly provides equal compression to your muscles thus giving a temporary boost in strength because you have more leverage allowing you to lift heavier weights for more reps which translates into growth. Now this seems like quack but I think the idea has merit. The shirt itself gives a solid stable base preventing unecessary momentum and lot of injured bodybuilders/powerlifters who used the shirt swear that it helped them get around their injuries which would have otherwise prevented them from workoing out. An indepth review was done by several respected members from bodybuilding.com. You can check out their reviews and judge for yourself whether this product is worth it since it is an expensive investment at $79.95 plus $5.99 for shipping.
Reviews:

Zamzar - Free online file conversion

I love this site because it can convert any large file or url (upto 100 MB) to a variety of different formats. I have personally used it to convert video files for my dvd player. You have to wait for a few hours for your file to get converted and then they will email it back to you. It's a great service and free!

EzVision Video Eyewear - Portable 50 inch widescreen shades!

These super cool portable movie shades essentially straps a 50 inch tv screen to your face enhancing your video/movie/gaming experience without breaking your wallet. It is pretty light, weighing in around 68 grams. It can be plugged in to your Ipod video as well as DVD/Video players (adapters included). It also had retractable headphones built in with volume control so you can sit down and watch anywhere. The batteries last anywhere between 6-8 hours and you also get a wall charger.

All in all, I think it's a great gadget to have and from the reviews that I have read, it seems to work very well. What I like most is the portability and flexibility of the Eyewear. Pricing is anywhere between $205 to $270 so you'll have to shop around a bit.
